Talk Grief is a dedicated online space for grieving teenagers and young adults, offering advice and support to young people aged 13 to 25. Teenagers share their experience of living with grief. talkgrief.org
Papyrus offers resources and support for teenagers and young adults dealing with suicide, depression or emotional distress. They offer 24/7 telephone support including weekends and bank holidays.

Kooth offer free, anonymous support with a choice of online chat or message. The service is safe and anonymous.  The 1:1 online support is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychology (BACP). kooth.com
Young People Cornwall offer support and activities for 8-25 year olds. From drop-in youth groups to one-on-one mental health sessions, we offer a huge range of support – all over Cornwall.

Useful Apps to Support Young People:

The Feeling Good Teens app uses short audio tracks to help you let go of worry, improve sleep, develop self-esteem, resilience and goal focused motivation.
The Calm Harm app provides some immediate activities and techniques to help you break the cycle of self-harm behaviour and explore underlying trigger factors; the app supports you in building a ‘safety net’ of helpful thoughts, behaviours, and access to supportive people, as well as providing the opportunity to journal and self-reflect.
Smiling Mind is a free and practical mental fitness toolkit. Designed for minds of all ages and stages, the new Smiling Mind App helps you learn the skills that promote mental wellbeing and create the habits to thrive.
Safe Spot is an app to help you develop coping skills and resilience.
Clear Fear was developed by clinicians working with young people. Clear Fear uses a Cognitive Behavioural framework to help you change anxious thoughts and emotions, calming feelings of fear.
Worry Tree is easy-to-use and practical app that will support you through the problem-solving process helping you to either make a plan to deal with your worry or find in-the-moment distractions to help you cope and move on with your day.
Not OK is a free digital panic button to get you immediate support via text, phone call, or GPS location when you’re struggling to reach out. The App also contains a variety of ‘pre-crisis’ tools and resources.
Stay Alive is a pocket suicide prevention resource for the UK, packed full of useful information and tools to help people stay safe in crisis. You can use it if you are having thoughts of suicide or if you are concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide.

Blue Ice is a prescribed evidence-based app to help young people manage their emotions and reduce urges to self-harm.

It includes a mood diary, toolbox of evidence based techniques to reduce distress and automatic routing to emergency numbers if urges to harm continue.
