Fundraising

Last year Penhaligon’s Friends supported 1012 bereaved children, young people and their families.

We rely on grants and donations to develop and sustain our services, maintaining a vital service for the community here in Cornwall. All of our services are provided free to families so we need your support to help us!

We always welcome any donations, from the smallest coffee morning to much bigger events like concerts and sporting challenges. Some people may choose to ask for donations to Penhaligon’s Friends on special events such as birthdays or anniversaries, while others choose to give to our charity to remember a loved one, or collect donations at a funeral.

Have you got a Fundraising Idea?

If you have an idea for a fundraising event we would love to hear from you, please get in touch with us and we can support you, share your event on our website and social media as well as in our newsletter, and help with resources.

Another great way to support Penhaligon’s Friends is to ask for one of our loose change boxes for use at home – collect up all those fiddly 5p pieces, or empty your pockets at the end of the day, some people even use it as a swear box! Does your workplace have a ‘Charity of the Year’?  Could you nominate Penhaligon’s Friends?

Fundraising for Penhaligon’s Friends is a great way to motivate staff in the workplace and have fun at work, while building and strengthening relationships. Your corporate support would directly benefit families across the county whilst also projecting a positive corporate image for your business.

It’s so easy to create a fundraising page for Penhaligon’s Friends. Just go to JustGiving, create your page and select us as your charity and you’re done. You can create a page in just a few minutes. Make it yours with a story, photos, and videos.

Use JustGiving to share your page with friends and watch as the donations start rolling in. You don’t have to chase anyone – JustGiving will transfer donations directly to Penhaligon’s Friends!
