Truro Cathedral – Remember Me Always service of remembrance

To mark our 25th anniversary there will be a special service of remembrance at Truro Cathedral for all families that we have worked with over the years, together with our wonderful volunteers, staff and trustees.  Supporters of Penhaligon’s Friends are also invited to attend the service which will be held on Saturday 30th May at 2pm.

You can be sure of receiving more information about the day, and any other events, fundraising and training by joining our mailing list

Aymes and the Dieticians at Treliske Hospital support Penhaligon’s Friends

Thanks to Aymes and the dieticians at Treliske Truro Hospital for a donation of £1,000 towards our work with bereaved children and young people throughout Cornwall. Fantastic support, thank you so much. Without support from the community we would not be able to continue with our work.

Rotary Club of Penwith join the growing band of supporters

A massive shout out to our friends at the Rotary Club of Penwith who organised a dinner and quiz in aid of our work with bereaved children and young people throughout Cornwall. They raised an amazing £141, Thanks to all at the club for their support.

It’s good to have the opportunity to tell people about our work with bereaved children and young people

Great to have the opportunity to meet with the folk at Truro Methodist Church Tuesday Evening Fellowship and tell them about the work of Penhaligon’s Friends supporting bereaved children and young people throughout Cornwall. A lovely welcome, and of course tea and biscuits! Thank you all.

Help from Hunter & Walsh Hair Salon

We are delighted to have received a donation of £160 from Penzance hair Salon Hunter & Walsh.

The money was raised by organising a Christmas “Wheel of Fortune” at the Salon.  Our sincere thanks to everyone at the salon, owners, staff and customers for their support.

Helston Rotary Club Christmas Carol Concert raises an amazing £1,700

Enormous thanks go to Helston Rotary Club and their President Brian Curtis.  An absolutely wonderful Christmas Carol Concert was held at Helston Methodist Church on 18th December raising a massive £1,700 – Thank you so much to the Rotarians and all who helped and supported the event.

We were delighted to receive a donation of £1019.80 from Treswithian Downs Crematorium last week. Thank you so much to the team for choosing our charity! Our CEO, Julie, went along to collect the cheque from Gemma Manning.

Great support by Bolingey Barbarians for our Liskeard Family Group

We are delighted to have been supported by Bolingey Barbarians. Their donation of £500 enabled us to go shopping and create a wonderful package for our Liskeard Family group. Our Liskeard group for bereaved children and their families meets monthly and will now have some fantastic new resources!
