 Julie Parker
Chief Executive Officer

Julie manages Penhaligon’s Friends as well as being involved with our Memory Days and some of the family support work. Julie deals with all our funding and fundraising. Her background prior to joining the charity includes working as a trained nursery nurse and with the NSPCC. Julie has been with the charity since 2006.

Julie lives in the north of the county with her partner and two boys. They have a wide range of animals and wildlife on their smallholding.

 

Polly Langford
Family Services Lead

Polly works in a part-time role for us as part of our Family Services Team. Polly joined our staff team after spending a number of years supporting us as a volunteer. Polly spends her time ensuring the smooth running of our Parents Groups and Memory Days and is one of the supportive voices on the end of the phone or visiting families at home.

Polly has spent many years working in Nursing and Health Visiting and brings a wealth of experience to our team. Polly lives in Mid Cornwall with her four young children, if this doesn’t already keep her busy enough, she often takes on other challenges including the odd marathon run!

 

Jo Coombes
Family Services Support Worker

Jo works full-time as a Family Services Support Worker, speaking to families on the phone, organising visits and helping with groups.

Jo offers supports families by way of family visits and on the telephone. As well as taking referrals from families or other agencies, Jo helps with memory days, family groups and teen groups.

Previously Jo was a Connexions adviser and volunteered with other charities working with young people and the bereaved

In her spare time Jo likes going for walks with friends and family, playing with her cat Hercules and doing a bit of Yoga.

 

 

Abi Deakin
Family Services Support Worker

Abi joined in 2021 as a Family Services Support Worker, alongside the rest of the Family Services Team and our fantastic volunteers. Outside of work, Abi loves getting outside and walking in the woods or on the beach, gardening and doing arty crafty things.

 

 

 

 

 

Jo Spear
Family Services Support Worker

Jo joined Penhaligon’s Friends in 2021.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ali Vigo
Reception/Admin

Ali joined the team in 2018 as a Reception/Admin to help with the many visitors and phone calls we get here in the office.  Ali also keeps the office organised, arranges family visits and keeping all of our paperwork up to date.  Ali will often be the first person you speak to when you call the office.

Outside of work Ali likes cooking, camping and spending time walking her two dogs.

 

 

 

Jo Woollard
Office Administrator

Jo works part-time as our Office administrator and is responsible for training bookings, donations, and family services administration. She brings a wealth of experience, and we value her calm, efficient and organised ways.

Outside of work Jo likes to spend time camping, or at the beach with her two children.
